Kyiv Summer Music Evenings International Festival with Sung-Ju Lee (USA), Oleksandr Polyakov (UA) and the National Symphonic Orchestra of Ukraine, Mariinskiy Park open-air stage, 25 June at 18.00 Organisers of Kyiv Summer Music Evenings are inviting all of Kyiv out to an unprecedented open-air concert by the National Symphonic Orchestra of Ukraine. Starring pianist Oleksandr Polyakov, the young Ukrainian has won some of the most-respected awards in classical music, including the Horowitz and Franz Liszt Piano Competition held in the Netherlands. Sung-Ju Lee will also be featured this evening and is called a violinist of dazzling technique and rare sensibility. Guests of this charming evening will certainly enjoy Prokofiev's piano concert performed by Polyakov and works of Paganini and Glazunov performed by Sung-Ju Lee.
