The Delos label issued debut solo album of Van Cliburn competition winner 2013 - Vadim Kholodenko (who is 2nd prize winner in Junior Group, III International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz, 1999). Pianist chosen for recording works by two composers from Russia's "golden age": Rachmaninov and Medtner. Technically brilliant, yet soulfully deep interpretations by a young pianist who is sure to set new standards of excellence as his career unfolds.
