II Prize Winner in Junior Group of III International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz (1999) Vadim Kholodenko (Ukraine) won the 14th International Competition for Pianists Van Cliburn.
He received a gold medal and a prize award in the amount of $ 50,000. Also, Vadim Kholodenko won two prizes: "Steven De Groote Memorial Award for the Best Performance of Chamber Music" and "Beverley Taylor Smith Award for the Best Performance of a New Work".
