Summer Music Academy 2015

International Summer Music Academy,

Studies take place at the oldest music educational establishment in Ukraine - R.Glier Kyiv Institute of Music
Those who wish can study at the Academy regardless of age, nationality or professional level.

Academy program offers the following master classes:

1. Solo performance (piano)
6 classes, 45 minutes each
2. Play with orchestra (piano)
6 classes, 45 minutes each, one rehearsal and a performance with orchestra

The master classes are given by:

Piano
Play with orchestra
Elza Kolodin (Germany). Lessons are given in French, German and English.
Alexei Grynyuk (Great Britain). Lessons are given in English and Russian.
Maria Puhlyanko (Ukraine). Lessons are given in Ukrainian and Russian.

Master - class "Play with orchestra" is accompanied by
the National Academic Honoured Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine

A completed application form with a personal signature is an agreement to abide by the terms stated in the prospectus.

Deadline for applications is June 20, 2015

The Administration reserves the right to cancel the master-class in any given specialty if fewer than 5 applications are received for the specialty; in that case, applicants will be informed before the start of the Academy.

Terms of studying:
Arrivals and registration - June 30, 2015. from 10.00 to 13.00.
Classes in "Summer Music Academy" will be held from 1 to 12 July inclusively.
Classes of the International Summer Music Academy stipulate an active form of participation and are open to the participants of the Academy and to the public.
After taking master classes participants will receive a certificate of the International Summer Music Academy.
Students of the International Summer Music Academy are provided with:
- facilities for practicing
- concert halls for solo and orchestra performances
- professional orchestra for soloists who play with orchestra

Notices:
Interpreter services are not provided.

During studying in "Summer Music Academy" students will take part in the concerts of the International Festival "Kyiv Summer Music Evenings".
Concerts will be held in the concert halls of art institutions, at the beautiful open-sky concert stage outside on the slopes of the Dnipro River and collect thousands of Kievans and guests.
Academy students should provide in their repertoire music pieces for concert performances.

Attention!
Participants of the master classes should provide the orchestra with the scores and orchestral parts.
